Where is Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga?
Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is at Trimbak, about 28 km from Nashik in Maharashtra, at the foot of the Brahmagiri hills where the Godavari river rises. The linga is distinctive for having three small faces, traditionally associated with Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

Tradition
History
The present black-stone temple was built in the 18th century during the Peshwa period, according to historical accounts. Nashik–Trimbakeshwar is one of the four sites of the Kumbh Mela.
Visiting
Nashik is the base for most pilgrims. Many also climb Brahmagiri to the traditional source of the Godavari. Some rituals, such as Narayan Nagbali, are strongly associated with Trimbakeshwar.
