Pooja and the temple
A pooja is an act of worship. At Kashi Vishwanath, alongside the five daily aartis, devotees can sponsor rituals performed by the temple's priests (shastris). The most important for Shiva devotees is Rudrabhishek — the ritual bathing of the linga while the Sri Rudram hymn is chanted.
