Information we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics (if enabled). We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. We configure it with Google signals and ad-personalisation signals disabled.
- Newsletter (if you subscribe). If you subscribe, your email address is processed by our email provider solely to send the updates you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we use your message and address only to respond.
Browser storage
The pilgrimage checklist saves your ticks in your own browser (local storage). This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.
Advertising (if enabled)
If we display advertising in future, for example through Google AdSense, the ad provider may use cookies to show and measure ads, which may be personalised according to your settings and local law. Where required, we will ask for your consent. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com (opens in a new tab, external site).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the site (hosting, analytics, email), or where required by law.
