What should be on a Kashi pilgrimage checklist?
Before leaving home: photo ID, any booking confirmation, modest clothing, water, medication and emergency contacts. Before entering the temple: check the current rules, prohibited items, entry requirements and the day's timings, and deposit your phone. After darshan: nearby temples, the ghats and the Ganga Aarti.
