How do I get darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple?

Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, step by step
Darshan is the act of seeing the deity and receiving the deity's gaze. At Kashi Vishwanath it usually takes this shape:
- Reach the temple area on foot. Vehicles stop at Godowlia, Maidagin or other points outside the old city. See how to reach.

- Pass security screening at the gate.
- Join the queue — general, or the separate entry for a booked service such as Sugam Darshan.
- Darshan in the sanctum. Movement is brisk; you may have only moments before the Jyotirlinga. Offerings are made as directed by staff.
- Visit the complex. Many pilgrims then see the smaller shrines, walk the Dham corridor towards the river, and continue to Annapurna Devi.
